Long hair + braids process test

Process: 1-model the shape of the hair as you want; 2- copy the model and extract the splines; 3- copy the model again, do a "push" modifier for inside, so that you have guides for the hair that's in the interior; 4- put all of that "interior" guides (and do more copies if needed) in each of the vertex of the proxy that's growing hair (low poly); 5- join the two splines groups; 6- use Ornatrix with the splines as guides and adjust the settings as needed.

Finally had some time to finish one of my hair tests, where I wanted to try doing some braids and, because the limits of the 3DS Hair & Fur, was an escuse to try Ornatrix (without the modifier braids). Amazingly one of the hardest parts was not technical but understanding how the damn braids are done for real!! Conclusion: if I ever have a daughter I'll have to shave her hair...LOL
